Lauren Cohagen Joins Jupiter Compass as a Marketing Specialist
We’re excited to welcome the newest addition to the Jupiter Compass Digital Marketing team: Lauren Cohagen, who joined us this fall as a Marketing Specialist. With a strong foundation in communications, a passion for community connection, and a creative mindset, Lauren brings fresh energy to our growing South Florida agency.
From PR to Digital Marketing: A Versatile Path to Jupiter Compass
As an alumna of Florida Atlantic University with bachelor’s degrees in both communications and sociology, Lauren has developed a distinct creative style and love of helping cultivate connections within her community. Post-grad, she began her professional journey with an internship as a publicity assistant for a Boca Raton public relations agency. There, Lauren continued to nurture her communications background, as she supported media outreach efforts, press release writing and campaign development. By the end of her internship, she was set on expanding her skillset by taking on the branding and digital marketing spaces too.
A Communications-Driven Creative With Dual Expertise
Throughout her college years and internship experience, she worked in hospitality as a server- making her no stranger to a fast-paced environment with a demand for strong interpersonal communication. Moreover, Lauren’s previous background in both the hospitality and marketing worlds has assisted in her seamless transition to the Jupiter Compass team.
Since her start in October, Lauren has been aiding in:
- Search Engine Optimization Copywriting via detailed website sweeps
- Content Creation through photography and generating Visual Website Displays
- Development of Meta Ad Campaigns
- and now, Blog Post Writing (hi!)
